The 2024 National Floriculture Forum will take place on February 22-24 in Biloxi, Mississippi. The deadline to register is February 8, 2024. 


The 2024 NFF

Floriculture stakeholders from academic institutions, governmental agencies, and the floriculture/greenhouse industry are invited to join us in Biloxi for the 2024 National Floriculture Forum from Thursday-Saturday, February 22-24/2024. The NFF brings together diverse floricultural communities with the objectives to 1) address issues of importance to the floriculture industry, 2) form collaborative relationships, and 3) improve communication within the American floriculture industry to share and disseminate information.

Schedule

  • Thursday Evening:
  • Friday
    • AM oral/discussion sessions.
    • Lunch at hotel is included in registration.
    • PM oral/discussions followed by roundtrip bus transportation and dinner with wine at LaTerre Farms included https://www.laterrefarms.com/ .
  • Saturday
    • AM oral/discussion sessions.

Our oral sessions schedule is developing, based upon participant inputs, and a feature for this year’s event is a series of presentations, organized into topic bursts. If you are interested in delivering a talk, contact Christine Coker (cec117@msstate.edu) by February 1, 2024. Conference registration closes on Friday, February 8.

Conference registration: $149 per person. Conference registration closes February 8, 2024. NFF registration is kept inexpensive thanks to financial support from the American Floral Endowment.

Location and Hotels

The forum will be held at the Hyatt Biloxi, 1150 Beach Blvd., https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/mississippi/hyatt-place-biloxi/gptzb. This property’s rooms are now fully booked.

A van shuttle will provide transportation to the Hyatt Biloxi  from NFF hotels on Friday, 2/23/24. Please coordinate your Friday hotel pick up with Jenny Ryals (662) 719-7294, j.ryals@msstate.edu

The NFF continues an annual tradition dating back to the early 1990s. It is an educational meeting for industry leaders, university faculty, graduate students, and government scientists from academic institutions, governmental agencies, and the greenhouse industry.

The meeting brings together diverse floricultural communities with the objectives to:

  • Address issues of importance to the floriculture industry
  • Form collaborative relationships,
  • Improve communication within the American floriculture industry to share and disseminate information
