As a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin, I am lucky enough to have been able to follow my passion for plants and agriculture. Every day I get the opportunity to learn more about the incredible and fast paced world of plant breeding & genetics, and even get to contribute towards the wellbeing of growers and their communities in the form of research, teaching, and public outreach…Scholarships from organizations like the American Floral Endowment allow me to focus more on what really matters to me – improving the health of people, plants, and their communities.
