2022 Fundraising Campaign

In an effort to continue to increase annual support for important research, education, and other floriculture programs, AFE once again conducted a virtual fundraising campaign. Our new format of virtual campaigns has allowed us to expand our fundraising capacity beyond industry event attendees and further raise awareness for our impactful industry programs.

Our new logo, established and approved as a part of our new Plan estratégico for 2022-2025, touts the overall goal/tagline of Financiación del futuro de la floricultura, which we have chosen as our theme for this year’s campaign as we envision and provide for a future full of flowers.
Your donation to AFE helps increase funding to support:
- Investigación to produce healthier, longer-lasting flowers and plants
- Becas y Prácticas to recruit tomorrow’s leaders and provide hands-on training for the next generation
- Subsidios educativos to provide learning opportunities and knowledge to all industry members

Nota importante: Those interested in a Diamond Sponsorship will note that the Diamond level includes an event sponsorship exclusive to that tier. At the SAF Annual Convention, we will be hosting “Funding the Future of Floriculture & AFE Reception.” This networking event will be held on Tuesday, September 6, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., just prior to the SAF Welcoming Reception. Our event will include special recognition of our incredible sponsors and supporters over the last few years, an update on AFE’s new programs and resources, and networking opportunities to jumpstart the evening. This event is open to all SAF Convention attendees at no cost, as a way for us to introduce AFE to the many new industry members that attend. Diamond Sponsors will be highlighted at this event as “Event Sponsors,” have placement on signage, and the opportunity to provide printed table materials.
If you aren’t able to participate as a sponsor, we still welcome contributions of any size to support our efforts and will consider you a Friend of the Endowment. Every dollar counts!
