Travel Grant Created for Arizona Retail Florists

A new travel grant has been created for retail florists in Arizona to pursue floral industry educational or design events.


The Arizona Retail Florist Education Travel Grant was established to assist Arizona florists in traveling to national industry events for educational programs and to provide networking opportunities on a national level.

The application deadline is October 1 each year (for travel in the following year).

Meet YPC Member Nathan Nordstedt
Nathan Nordstedt is a graduate student and research associate at The Ohio State University.

He is pursuing his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology of Floriculture Crop Improvement.

Nathan's first job was at a local retail garden center, which sparked his passion to open his own greenhouse business that he operated for four years before college.
