{"id":3340,"date":"2022-06-30T16:29:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-30T16:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/afe.epicenter1.com\/news\/funding-the-future-of-floriculture-afe-reception"},"modified":"2024-03-26T16:03:02","modified_gmt":"2024-03-26T16:03:02","slug":"funding-the-future-of-floriculture-afe-reception","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/endowment.org\/es\/news\/funding-the-future-of-floriculture-afe-reception","title":{"rendered":"Funding the Future of Floriculture &#038; AFE Reception"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We have announced our upcoming <strong>Funding the Future of Floriculture Event and AFE Reception<\/strong> in Orlando, Florida, on <strong>Tuesday, September 6th, from 4:00 \u2013 6:00 pm<\/strong> in conjunction with the SAF 2022 Annual Convention.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This two-hour event is scheduled just before the SAF Welcoming Reception and will include the announcement of our new Sustainability Initiative, special recognition of our incredible sponsors and supporters, and an industry networking reception. <strong>The event and reception are open to all SAF Convention attendees and local industry members at no cost.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/endowment.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/imported-files\/DSC02007-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15327\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">AFE Trustees have worked diligently over the past two years to develop new resources for the industry. Our annual funding covers new and innovative research, support for scholarships and internships, young professional development and recruitment, and promotes continued learning through educational grants for all industry members.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cAfter two years of virtual events, we are excited to re-engage with the floral community in person.
