As we head into fall, there\u2019s a lot happening behind the scenes at AFE as we look ahead to the research, education, and resources growers will need most in the coming year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Planning is already underway for the 2027 Serie de seminarios web Grow Pro<\/strong><\/a>, and I\u2019d love your input. Are there topics you want us to tackle next year, or researchers and industry experts you\u2019d like to hear from? Grow Pro is designed to address practical challenges in production, so your ideas help us make sure the series stays relevant and useful. Many of the topics we feature are the result of discussions with growers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, we\u2019re beginning to dig into this year\u2019s submitted research proposals and discuss where future research dollars can have the greatest impact. That makes now an especially good time to tell us what challenges you\u2019re facing. If there\u2019s a production issue, pest, disease, technology need, or other research question that deserves more attention, please share it aqu\u00ed<\/a><\/strong>. Your feedback helps inform our discussions and keeps industry needs at the center of AFE\u2019s research program. You can see our currently funded projects further down in this issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And if sustainability planning is on your list for the coming year, Sustainabloom<\/strong><\/a> has recently released about a Sustainability Planning Template for Flower Growers<\/a><\/strong>. It\u2019s designed to help growers organize sustainability goals, identify priorities, and turn broad ideas into practical next steps for their operation.
