There\u2019s still time to take the <a href=\"https:\/\/form.jotform.com\/241345309993160\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>funding input survey<\/strong><\/a> and tell us what focus areas you want AFE to turn up in 2026 and beyond. We received twice as many applications for the Fred C. Gloeckner Foundation Research Fund. We received 3 times more AFE research proposal applications.<strong> <\/strong>While this was likely due to funding uncertainty from other sources, it also shows the importance and impact of stable funding programs like AFE, which aren\u2019t impacted by changes in administrations and political policies. It also means that researchers believe in the value of AFE-funded work and are ready to deliver solutions the industry needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>New Releases: 20 Projects Dropped This Year<\/strong><br><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Think of this as your \u201cNew Music Friday\u201d playlist:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/endowment.org\/es\/news\/2025-fcgfrf-funding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>8 projects funded through the Fred C. Gloeckner Foundation Research Fund<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/endowment.org\/es\/news\/2025-2026-research-funding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>12 AFE-funded projects<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Their focus areas encompassed the classics as well as new trends, including thrips, Botrytis, substrates, sustainability, nutrition, new technology, advanced breeding, and more.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A solid playlist, which will influence the way crops will be produced and protected in future years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Certified Hits: Grow Pro Webinar Series<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your most replayed content of 2025: <a href=\"https:\/\/endowment.org\/es\/growpro\/\"><strong>The Grow Pro Webinar Series.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Twelve months. Thirteen webinars. Hundreds of registrations, attendees, and YouTube views for each topic. Featuring: practical guidance, new research, real-time Q&amp;A with industry experts, and grower-to-grower connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/playlist?list=PL5n2H0xdwPQ4aZCSphcrnt2wCZoqJ1HQ0&amp;si=AwhLYSDRB1eJoPu3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>We made you a playlist of all your favorites.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With almost 2,500 registrations this year, Grow Pro earned its place on the \u201cmost-streamed\u201d list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What tour? The World Tour: AFE On The Road<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From Miami to Vancouver (twice!) to Bogot\u00e1 and all kinds of places in between, AFE research took the stage everywhere, including international events like <a href=\"https:\/\/endowment.org\/es\/news\/global-collaboration-in-bloom-at-proflora-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Proflora<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s setlist included conference presentations, industry roundtables and discussions, student engagement, research updates, and new collaborations. If there was an opportunity to engage with the industry, we were there. And we can\u2019t wait to keep the momentum going in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Longest Charting Track: Thrips &amp; Botrytis Campaign<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, the five-year campaign officially ended, but three ongoing projects are still releasing new data, presentations, and management insights that growers are continuing to put into practice. Some tracks are just so good that they keep earning their spot on the charts.
