Carbone, quien falleci\u00f3 el 14 de agosto de 2025, cinco d\u00edas antes de cumplir 94 a\u00f1os. El homenaje fue creado por Harrison \u201cRed\u201d Kennicott, de Kennicott Brothers, en reconocimiento a la perdurable dedicaci\u00f3n, innovaci\u00f3n y liderazgo de Bob en la industria floral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bob era un hombre de familia devoto y un l\u00edder empresarial visionario cuyo impacto dio forma a la distribuci\u00f3n floral en todo el Noreste. \u00c9l fund\u00f3 la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rjcarbone.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>RJ Carbone Company<\/strong><\/a> En 1953, y durante 72 a\u00f1os, \u00e9l y su familia lo hicieron crecer desde unos comienzos humildes hasta convertirlo en uno de los principales distribuidores mayoristas de flores de la regi\u00f3n. Mediante su apoyo inicial a la importaci\u00f3n de flores frescas cortadas de Sudam\u00e9rica, Bob redefini\u00f3 el modelo comercial de la industria y sent\u00f3 las bases para d\u00e9cadas de crecimiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La influencia de Bob se extendi\u00f3 mucho m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de su propia empresa. Form\u00f3 parte de la Junta Directiva de dos asociaciones comerciales nacionales: la Wholesale Florist and Floral Suppliers of America, donde ejerci\u00f3 como presidente en 1988, y la American Floral Endowment, donde fue presidente en 2001. Tambi\u00e9n fue miembro de larga trayectoria del Club Rotario de Cranston y fue incorporado al Sal\u00f3n de la Fama de Cranston en 1991.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBob fue un verdadero l\u00edder en nuestra industria\u201d, dijo Red Kennicott. \u201cSu visi\u00f3n de futuro y su profundo compromiso con nuestra profesi\u00f3n ayudaron a elevar la industria hasta donde est\u00e1 hoy. Le sobreviven su entra\u00f1able esposa durante 75 a\u00f1os, Elaine, sus hijos Thomas y Jeanne, Linda y John, Stephen y Cheryl, y Patricia y Christopher, junto con doce nietos y doce bisnietos. Bob y Elaine pasaron treinta inviernos maravillosos en Palm Springs con familiares y amigos, siempre rodeados de calidez, risas y amor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El velatorio se llevar\u00e1 a cabo el jueves 21 de agosto de 4:00 a 7:00 p. m. en las Funerarias Russell J. Boyle and Son, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick, Rhode Island.
