The American Floral Endowment (AFE) took home its fourth award for the animated awareness video \u201cAsesinato, sexo y avaricia<\/a><\/strong>.\u201d MarCom Awards<\/strong><\/a> selected the video from over 6,500 entries as the best nonprofit film.<\/p>

\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to receive MarCom\u2019s Platinum Award\u2014the organization\u2019s top honor,\u201d said AFE Executive Director Debi Aker. \u201cThis video has been instrumental in helping raise awareness of AFE\u2019s commitment to solving problems in the floral industry and to win four prestigious awards shows its impact.\u201d \"\"
The short one-minute video was developed to educate the floriculture industry about AFE\u2019s positive impact on critical industry problems. It can easily be viewed and shared online at Endowment.org\/awareness<\/a><\/strong>.
Marcom Awards is an international creative competition for any individual or company involved in the concept, writing and design of print, visual, audio and web materials and programs. The contest is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. Judges look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence.
AFE\u2019s previous awards include the DC Ad Club\u2019s Premio American Advertising (ADDY) de Plata 2014<\/a><\/strong> recognizing the video\u2019s creative excellence, Premio C\u00edrculo de Oro<\/strong><\/a> from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) for excellence in association\/nonprofit marketing and communications, and a Premio Thoth<\/strong><\/a> from the National Capital Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America for outstanding and strategic public relations efforts.
