They are focused on all floricultural crops \u2013 fresh cut flowers, fresh cut greens, flowering potted plants, foliage plants and bedding plants.<\/p><ul><li><strong>Biocontrol<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Breeding<\/strong> \u2013 can include breeding to enhance postharvest quality, plant and flower quality or to reduce insect and diseases<\/li><li><strong>New Technology<\/strong> \u2013 to increase floriculture quality<\/li><li><strong>Pest and Disease<\/strong> \u2013 Focus areas: Aphids, Botrytis, Downy\/Powdery Mildews, Leaf Miners, Thrips, Whiteflies and others<\/li><li><strong>Postharvest<\/strong> \u2013 can include shelf life, transportation, home or garden\u00a0performance<\/li><\/ul><p>AFE has more than 150 <strong>FREE <a href=\"https:\/\/endowment.org\/es\/investigacion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online research reports<\/a><\/strong> on a variety of topics that focus on important industry
