AFE ya est\u00e1 aceptando solicitudes para el nuevo Beca de la Familia Altman<\/strong><\/a>, y el Beca Paul Ecke, Jr.<\/strong><\/a>, para estudiantes de posgrado que tienen las habilidades y la pasi\u00f3n para convertirse en cient\u00edficos y educadores l\u00edderes en floricultura.

La Beca de la Familia Altman<\/strong> fue creado en 2015 por Ken y Deena Altman, propietarios de Altman Plants, quienes apoyan numerosos esfuerzos para mejorar la educaci\u00f3n y la investigaci\u00f3n para la industria.

Se seleccionar\u00e1 a un estudiante para cada beca. Los solicitantes deben estar en el proceso de completar con \u00e9xito una licenciatura o una maestr\u00eda en horticultura o un campo relacionado (por ejemplo, ingenier\u00eda agr\u00edcola, entomolog\u00eda, comercializaci\u00f3n y econom\u00eda agr\u00edcola, patolog\u00eda vegetal, etc.) y deben tener la intenci\u00f3n de cursar una maestr\u00eda o un doctorado a tiempo completo.
