For 25 years, Equiflor\/Rio Roses<\/a> has proudly served as AFE\u2019s Annual Event Flower Sponsor, generously providing stunning roses year after year. Their unwavering support reflects a deep commitment to advancing and supporting the floral industry. Even during the pandemic, Rio Roses continued their dedication by donating a year\u2019s worth of roses to the #AFEandMe contest winner<\/a> as part of our first-ever fully virtual campaign which helped raise over $80,000 to support floral advancements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Equiflor, a privately-owned company with over three decades of excellence, is a leading grower and distributor of fresh flowers. Established in 1986 as a family business, it has grown into a renowned brand recognized across the US and Canada. Their nationally branded fresh cut \u201cRio Roses\u201d are distributed through an extensive network of wholesalers. Operating from a distribution center near Miami International Airport, Equiflor oversees the growth, importation, distribution, and marketing of roses, carnations, and specialty flowers sourced from the world’s premier growing regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With fresh flower farms across Ecuador, Colombia, and Costa Rica, Equiflor\/Rio Roses sets the standard for independent flower growing and importing the highest quality blooms. Their meticulous approach ensures every flower meets the exceptional standards their customers have come to expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond their annual floral contributions, Equiflor\/Rio Roses has also supported AFE\u2019s Thrips and Botrytis Fund, which addresses critical research in pest management and disease control. As experienced growers themselves, they understand the challenges facing the floral industry and the value of funding research to develop practical solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
