Henry recibir\u00e1 una ayuda de $5.900 gracias a esta beca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLa floricultura y la producci\u00f3n en invernadero han sido mi pasi\u00f3n durante muchos a\u00f1os y estoy muy emocionado de cursar mi maestr\u00eda en este campo incre\u00edble\u201d, dijo Henry.<br>\u201cEsta beca marcar\u00e1 una gran diferencia mientras contin\u00fao mi educaci\u00f3n y estoy muy agradecido a AFE y a la familia Altman por hacer posible que existan oportunidades como esta.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Henry realiz\u00f3 un <a href=\"https:\/\/endowment.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/imported-files\/JoshHenryStudentReport.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>pasant\u00eda de seis meses<\/strong><\/a> en Smith Gardens en 2015 a trav\u00e9s de AFE <a href=\"https:\/\/endowment.org\/es\/practicas-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Programa de becarios Vic y Margaret Ball<\/strong><\/a>, y \u201crealmente elev\u00f3 el list\u00f3n para todos los futuros pasantes\u201d, dijo Don Spence, gerente de producci\u00f3n y director de pasantes en Smith Gardens en Oreg\u00f3n.<br>El \u00e1rea principal de investigaci\u00f3n de Henry es la nutrici\u00f3n vegetal de plantas anuales y en maceta, espec\u00edficamente con f\u00f3sforo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Considera gratificante ayudar a los agricultores a diagnosticar diversos problemas en las plantas.
