The <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/zg_ztuAWPJw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>video<\/strong><\/a> explains the importance of choosing the right plant, the right environment and the right control agents for a complete IPM strategy.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenhousecanada.com\/inputs\/biocontrols\/ipm-prevention-and-early-intervention-31896\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Part 2, IPM: Prevention and Early Intervention<\/strong><\/a>, describes the elements and actions of a \u201cstart clean and stay clean\u201d strategy, including a pest-free environment, healthy and resistant plants and an early start to biocontrol. The <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/OI9L62RdN9U\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>video<\/strong><\/a> shows the right technique for cutting dips to kill pests on propagative material.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-10145\" src=\"https:\/\/endowment.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/imported-files\/ScreenGrab.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"221\"><\/p><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenhousecanada.com\/inputs\/biocontrols\/the-rise-of-microbes-offers-growers-some-important-new-ipm-tools-31949\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Part 3, The Rise of Microbes<\/strong><\/a>, offers useful information on microbial biopesticides and entomopathogenic nematodes and how they fit in thrips IPM programs. The <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/iol2kmNSxr8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>video<\/strong><\/a> demonstrates how to determine the viability of entomopathogenic nematodes and the best way to apply them to a crop.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenhousecanada.com\/news\/1001-ways-to-use-predatory-mites-32011\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Part 4, 1001 Ways to Use Predatory Mites<\/strong><\/a>, describes when and where to use different species, formulations and release strategies of predatory mites, how to optimize their performance, and how they integrate with other biocontrol agents and IPM strategies. The <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/CUaSpXiYJTM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>video<\/strong><\/a> explains how slow release sachets work and how to monitor the weekly \u2018walk-out\u2019 from the sachets.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenhousecanada.com\/inputs\/biocontrols\/how-to-use-non-crop-plants-in-your-thrips-ipm-programs-32096\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Part 5, How to Use Non-Crop Plants<\/strong><\/a>, explores the principles of using indicator plants, trap plants and banker plants for monitoring, mass trapping and maintaining a population of biocontrol agents in the greenhouse.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenhousecanada.com\/inputs\/biocontrols\/are-pesticides-compatible-with-biocontrol-32142\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Part 6, Are Pesticides Compatible with Biocontrol<\/strong><\/a>, answers one of the most asked questions in IPM.
