Como vendedor, Buddy viajaba por tiendas de flores al por menor en toda Nueva Inglaterra vendiendo suministros. La atenci\u00f3n de Buddy a la satisfacci\u00f3n del cliente y su agudo sentido comercial impulsaron a Jacobson a convertirse en un l\u00edder de la industria floral y en el mayor proveedor de art\u00edculos duraderos de Nueva Inglaterra.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <div class=\"buttons\">\n                            <\/div>\n        \n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Transform\u00f3 el negocio con su deseo de contar con unas instalaciones a pie de calle para ofrecer una experiencia superior al cliente. Buddy siempre se esforz\u00f3 por satisfacer las necesidades de los clientes y superar sus expectativas. Una prueba m\u00e1s de ello se produjo en 1991, cuando fund\u00f3 la filial de importaci\u00f3n de Jacobson, Holiday Designs Ltd., para ofrecer al mercado productos \u00fanicos y vanguardistas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El impacto de Buddy en la industria floral no se detuvo en el negocio familiar. Fue un impulsor de la participaci\u00f3n de Jacobson en la industria floral a nivel nacional y local, incluyendo el Instituto Americano de Dise\u00f1adores Florales (American Institute of Floral Designers), la Sociedad de Floristas Americanos (Society of American Florists), Teleflora, el evento anual de Boston \u201cDilo con flores\u201d (\"Say it with Flowers\") para recaudar fondos para la investigaci\u00f3n de la ELA, la Asociaci\u00f3n Floral de Connecticut, la Exposici\u00f3n Floral de Nueva England (New England Floral Expo), y la Asociaci\u00f3n de Floristas Mayoristas y Proveedores de Floristas (Wholesale Florist and Florist Supplier Association), donde se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como presidente de 1999 a 2000.
