La reuni\u00f3n comenz\u00f3 con un recorrido por el Jard\u00edn Bot\u00e1nico de Chicago, que nos mostr\u00f3 su paisaje \u00fanico, su incre\u00edble dise\u00f1o, su espacio de invernadero recientemente renovado, as\u00ed como un primer vistazo a su exposici\u00f3n estacional de orqu\u00eddeas que incluy\u00f3 alrededor de 50 especies diferentes. Fue una experiencia educativa aprender sobre la historia del jard\u00edn, sus proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n en curso y los programas de reproducci\u00f3n que contribuyen tanto al jard\u00edn como a la industria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tras el recorrido, la reuni\u00f3n comenz\u00f3 con charlas centradas en el futuro y en los j\u00f3venes profesores. Asistentes de diversos \u00e1mbitos compartieron valiosos consejos y experiencias, proporcion\u00e1ndome conocimientos que ayudar\u00e1n en mi futura carrera. Como estudiantes de posgrado, pudimos interactuar con las grandes mentes del campo de la floricultura, lo que ofreci\u00f3 una oportunidad \u00fanica de establecer contactos que me permiti\u00f3 aprender m\u00e1s sobre las expectativas de la industria de la floricultura y del \u00e1mbito acad\u00e9mico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Presentar mi investigaci\u00f3n y escuchar las presentaciones de otros estudiantes de posgrado fue una de mis partes favoritas de la NFF. No solo brind\u00f3 a los asistentes una visi\u00f3n general de la investigaci\u00f3n actual en floricultura, sino que tambi\u00e9n proporcion\u00f3 a los estudiantes valiosos consejos de especialistas en diversos campos de la floricultura que ayudar\u00e1n a mejorar nuestra investigaci\u00f3n. Espero que la NFF siga fomentando la participaci\u00f3n de los estudiantes de posgrado en la reuni\u00f3n y que se puedan ofrecer oportunidades de becas de viaje para permitir que m\u00e1s estudiantes tengan la oportunidad de participar.
