<\/a>Una nueva y emocionante forma de producir pl\u00e1ntulas de cultivos flor\u00edcolas y esquejes enraizados (trasplantes) es en interiores, donde se puede controlar el ambiente para producir plantas uniformes bajo demanda. Esta t\u00e9cnica de cultivo permite controlar el espectro lum\u00ednico mediante diodos emisores de luz (LED) para producir plantas con los atributos deseados, como un crecimiento compacto y una floraci\u00f3n temprana o tard\u00eda, seg\u00fan se prefiera. Actualmente nos encontramos en el segundo a\u00f1o de nuestro proyecto respaldado por la Fundaci\u00f3n Floral Americana.<\/p>

Nuestro equipo de estudiantes y t\u00e9cnicos de investigaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 realizando experimentos en el Laboratorio de Iluminaci\u00f3n en Entorno Controlado (CELL)<\/a>. Nos complace compartir nuestros resultados hasta la fecha a trav\u00e9s de una serie de cinco art\u00edculos en la revista GrowerTalks. A continuaci\u00f3n, se muestra una lista de los temas de los art\u00edculos, y el primero, titulado \u201cIluminaci\u00f3n de plantas j\u00f3venes en interiores\u201d, se encuentra en el Edici\u00f3n de febrero de 2019<\/a>.
