Durante las reuniones de la junta directiva de AFE el mes pasado, los administradores fueron testigos de c\u00f3mo la instituci\u00f3n se enorgullece de hacer honor a este lema. Mientras estaban en West Lafayette, Indiana, la junta tuvo la oportunidad de experimentar las tres facetas cruciales de la universidad.<\/p><p>Los administradores comenzaron su d\u00eda con un poco de educaci\u00f3n para ellos mismos: una orientaci\u00f3n para la Junta Directiva. <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11827 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/endowment.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/imported-files\/IMG_5279-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"263\" height=\"197\">Tuvieron el privilegio de tener <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rchcae.com\/\">Bob Harris<\/a>, un hombre que tiene una gran experiencia en el mundo de las asociaciones y las organizaciones sin fines de lucro. Comenzaron en el Armstrong Hall, donde pudieron ver el programa de educaci\u00f3n sobre exploraci\u00f3n espacial de la universidad. Un estudiante miembro del programa de Aeron\u00e1utica\/Astron\u00e1utica nos guio.<\/p><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-11825\" src=\"https:\/\/endowment.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/imported-files\/IMG_6244-copy-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"280\" height=\"210\">A continuaci\u00f3n, los Administradores se dirigieron hacia el Stewart Center, donde vieron los murales de Land Grant. Visitaron los Invernaderos HORT y vieron el Jard\u00edn de Horticultura Jules Janick. En el Edificio de Horticultura, escucharon charlas r\u00e1pidas de profesores y estudiantes de posgrado sobre la investigaci\u00f3n que se est\u00e1 llevando a cabo.<\/p><p>El recorrido continu\u00f3 cuando el grupo visit\u00f3 el Entorno Controlado para Fenotipado, donde recibieron una visita guiada y presenciaron algunas de las operaciones en marcha.<\/p><p>Quedaba una \u00faltima parada antes del final del recorrido: el Centro de Emprendimiento. La Junta Directiva conoci\u00f3 la certificaci\u00f3n que se ofrece a los estudiantes para fomentar una mentalidad empresarial. Muchos miembros del Consejo coincidieron en que habr\u00edan sido los primeros en inscribirse en los cursos de este programa, de haberse ofrecido en su momento.<\/p><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-11826\" src=\"https:\/\/endowment.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/imported-files\/IMG_4509-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"247\" height=\"185\">El d\u00eda termin\u00f3 con una hermosa vista del campus por un lado y del estadio de f\u00fatbol por el otro.<\/p><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11828 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/endowment.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/imported-files\/IMG_6260-240x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"182\" height=\"228\">Facultad y personal de Purdue, as\u00ed como miembros de la industria local, se unieron a la junta directiva y al personal de AFE para cenar en el Estadio Ross-Ade. Karen Plaut, decana de agricultura en Purdue, y el Dr. Jay T.
