Megan Bowman de Ball Horticultural Company\u00a0<\/strong>y<strong> Gustavo Gilchrist de Kennicott Brothers Company<\/strong>\u00a0para unirse a la Junta Directiva de la AFE. Ambos cumplir\u00e1n un mandato de tres a\u00f1os a partir de septiembre de 2019.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Los administradores de la AFE son l\u00edderes de la industria que ofrecen voluntariamente su tiempo y talento para ayudar a guiar las actividades y programas de la Fundaci\u00f3n que benefician a la industria. Actualmente, es L\u00edder de Bioinform\u00e1tica y An\u00e1lisis de Datos en<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ballhort.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Ball Horticultural Company<\/a> en Chicago, Illinois.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Megan se incorpor\u00f3 recientemente a la industria floral, en 2018, pero cuenta con muchos a\u00f1os de conocimientos aplicables, entre ellos haber obtenido su licenciatura en Biolog\u00eda Vegetal de la Universidad Estatal de M\u00edchigan y su doctorado en Fitomejoramiento y Gen\u00e9tica Vegetal de la Universidad de Wisconsin-Madison. \u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"nuevo s\u00edndico Gustavo Gilchrist\" src=\"https:\/\/endowment.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/imported-files\/29d7a940-1698-4c31-8e51-e74b525559c4.jpg\" alt=\"nuevo s\u00edndico Gustavo Gilchrist\" width=\"187\" height=\"183\" data-file-id=\"739577\">Gustavo Gilchrist<\/strong>\u00a0es presidente de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kennicott.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kennicott Brothers Company<\/a> en Chicago, Illinois. Tiene experiencia en estructura organizativa, cultura laboral, fusiones y adquisiciones, y planes de propiedad accionaria para empleados.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Gustavo se gradu\u00f3 de la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, una universidad privada en Medell\u00edn, Colombia, con un t\u00edtulo en ingenier\u00eda qu\u00edmica, y obtuvo una maestr\u00eda en administraci\u00f3n de empresas (MBA) de IPADE, la escuela de negocios de la Universidad Panamericana, una universidad privada en M\u00e9xico.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Completando sus mandatos en la Junta Directiva de AFE en septiembre est\u00e1n\u00a0<strong>Ken Altman\u00a0<\/strong>de Altman Plants y\u00a0<strong>Dr. Marvin Miller<\/strong>\u00a0de Ball Horticultural Company.
