AFE provides students interested in a career in floral operations a unique opportunity to perform a 10-16 week paid internship. Please take a moment to consider a student (or students) who would benefit from such an internship – someone who deserves a special paid opportunity to learn all aspects of retail floral operations, and receive a significant monetary scholarship upon satisfactory completion.

- Submit the completed application and materials (student’s personal statement, transcripts) on behalf of the student, along with a recommendation letter.
- Write a recommendation letter – evaluate applicants carefully and honestly, considering ability, quality of work, and potential as a future member of the floral industry.
- Communicate with students during the internship to ensure a successful internship.

Students who perform AFE internships are required to submit a written report at the end of their internship experience. We are pleased to share these reports to allow you to see first hand the wonderful opportunity and important hands-on experience that AFE internships provide!

Otorgar becas a estudiantes de floricultura y horticultura es una función principal de AFE. ¡Entendemos la carga financiera que enfrentan los estudiantes y estamos haciendo nuestra parte para ayudar! Las solicitudes para nuestras más de 30 becas vencen el 1 de mayo de cada año.
AFE cree firmemente en financiar programas educativos para promover y fortalecer la industria de la floricultura. La mayoría de los programas financiados tienen un gran alcance y se centran en atraer a los jóvenes a la industria, o bien son iniciativas educativas para identificar y resolver las necesidades y/o desafíos de la misma.
