John Henry Dudley Memorial Tribute

A Memorial Tribute has been established within the American Floral Endowment honoring John Henry Dudley, who died January 7, 2000, in Los Angeles, California. The tribute was established by family members, Frances and Tom Dudley.

In 1960, Mr. John Henry Dudley lead industry leaders in the establishment of the American Floral Endowment. It was his visionary leadership that attracted contributions from all segments of the industry, enabling the Endowment to fund university scientific research teams and educational programs to promote floriculture and environmental horticulture.

Today, thanks to Mr. Dudley’s vision, the Endowment continues to be the floral industry’s only not-for-profit organization supported by every industry segment and totally dedicated to funding research and educational development for the good of the entire industry. Over $12 million has been invested for research and development.

Contributions may be made to the John Henry Dudley Memorial Tribute by sending a check so designated to the American Floral Endowment, 1601 Duke Street, Alexandria, VA  22314. As a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit, all contributions are tax deductible. The family is always notified.
