Contributors Reaching a New Giving Level! - 2002
Since 1961, the American Floral Endowment has been the leading not-for-profit organization that is solely dedicated to funding floriculture research and educational programs for the entire floral industry, and is the only such industry-wide, industry-based organization garnering its support from every segment of the floral industry.
All contributions to the American Floral Endowment are tax deductible as allowed by law. Contributions are cumulative and provide a practical way of building individual and organizational participation. Recognition plaques are presented annually to those reaching a level beginning with the Guardian Level.
The end of fiscal year 2001/2002 marks a special milestone for American Floral Endowment contributors. With their 2001/2002 contribution(s), the following companies and individuals have moved to a higher designated giving level within the Endowment. We extend our deepest gratitude to all for their strong support and industry leadership.
"Contributions can be made at any time and in a number of different ways", said Bill Gouldin, Chairman for the Board of Trustees. Visit the Endowment website, www.endowment.org to make contributions - simply click on the contribution icon. A check made payable to the American Floral Endowment can be forwarded to 11 Glen Ed Professional Park, Glen Carbon, Illinois 62034. The American Floral Endowment can also be added as a beneficiary to an existing Will or life insurance policy; or appreciated assets such as property or stock can be donated - providing the donor with some additional tax advantages.
