Dear Industry Friends,
I’m pleased to greet you as you travel through the American Floral Endowment’s web page. As you explore our site, you’ll see the Endowment leads industry research and development efforts with a simple, yet powerful objective–improving and strengthening the floral industry for its members and the general floral consuming public.
You’ll see that the work toward this objective produces the floral industry’s largest non-governmental source of funding in floriculture/environmental horticulture. As the Endowment grows through generous contributions, it generates more and more dollars for industry development and advancement.
Nowhere else does your contributions transform into such a direct and important investment in the industry’s future.
Endowment funds research at universities throughout the country developing the new knowledge and technology to provide better quality floral products, affecting you whether you are a grower, wholesaler, retail florist or operate an allied business related to flowers and plants.
Educational funding annually targets youth at the high school and college level developing interest and attracting young people to flowers and plants ultimately drawing talented people to the floral industry.
